Summerland students bring maple syrup and other donations to food bank

Students from Summerland Middle School purchased maple syrup which was donated to the Summerland Food Bank, along with other donations.

Monique Porter’s Grade 7 class brought cash donations instead of a secret Santa exchange when they stopped at Maple Roch during a school outing on Dec. 17.

The students pooled their funds to purchase maple syrup, which was provided at a discount. They then took the syrup and other donations to the Summerland Food Bank.
