Summerland Cadets receive support from Kiwanis

Cadets assisted during Endless Summer Show and Shine

The 902 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron from Summerland provided support during the Endless Summer Show and Shine on Sept. 7.

The Cadets helped out with the Summerland Kiwanis Club’s hamburger sale at the car show.

Following the event, Tom Jacques of the Summerland Kiwanis Club presented a cheque for $1,905 to Mandy Smith of the 902 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron.

The Air Cadet Squadron parades Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m. at the Harold Simpson Memorial Youth Centre. All youth aged 12 to 18 are welcome to join the squadron.
