Rosedale Avenue in Summerland has gone through many pictures over the past century, but some Summerland buildings in the area still remain.
The home in the picture was built by Judge Wellington Kelley, a Summerland pioneer.

Kelley also introduced the name Rosedale for the prominent Summerland street.
The Kelley home today is part of the Providence Funeral Home.
Municipal minutes from 1925 show the correct spelling of his name, but a Summerland street named in his honour is spelled Kelly instead.
The church is the St. Stephen Anglican Church. It was built in the downtown area in 1909. The stone church has become a landmark within the community.
