Prizes awarded in Shop Local contest

Summerland Review, Summerland Chamber of Commerce and businesses involved in initiative

Brian Salter, left, and Mike Pim were the winners in the Summerland Review’s annual Shop Local contest. They each won $500 in Shopping Bucks, to be spent at participating businesses.

Presenting the prizes is Lucrezia Olivier of the Summerland Review.

The participating businesses are Summerland Home Hardware, Nesters Market, Pharmasave, Guardian Pharmacy, Yaki’s Pizza, Summerland Optometry, Shoppers Drug Mart and Petbarn.

The Summerland Review and the Summerland Chamber of Commerce each provided $500 for the prizes.
