The Best of the South Okanagan showcases the amazing businesses and business people who make the South Okanagan such a great place to live and work.
With an overwhelming response this year, and countless businesses nominated, people can feel proud of the quality of products and services being provided in our communities.
“Especially with the challenges of COVID-19, it’s very heartening to see the community support local businesses the way they have through the Best of the South Okanagan,” said Penticton Western News editor Monique Tamminga.
This year, we added a few new categories including best fruit stand as well as expanding the reach of the competition to include Osoyoos, Oliver, Keremeos and Summerland. These communities responded in droves, wanting to celebrate the unique bakeries, eateries and shops.
