Crews at Summerland Secondary School are working on a $1.1 million roofing and facade work project.

Bonnie Roller-Routley, secretary-treasurer for the Okanagan Skaha School District, said the work was approved by the school board in September.

The renovation work involves part of the roof and some of the siding at the building.

The work is expected to be completed before the end of the school year.
