An amendment to the Official Community Plan bylaw was given first reading at the municipal council meeting on Monday evening.
The bylaw is for 17013 Sanborn St. in the Hunters Hill Neighbourhood Plan.
The bylaw changes the designation of the lot from Open Land to Rural Residential.
It will proceed to a public hearing at the April 25 council meeting.
The bylaw reading was carried with Coun. Erin Carlson opposed.
Coun. Janet Peake was not present at the meeting.
