Evert Lindquist

Evert Lindquist

Originally from Oak Bay, B.C., I started out with Black Press Media's Greater Victoria team in 2021. Now in Revelstoke, I hold a bachelor of journalism and humanities from Carleton University and I also studied at the University of Leeds in England. I enjoy covering environment and biodiversity and spent summer 2024 reporting in Uganda on nature-based climate solutions. I found my journalistic calling while teaching and travelling in Argentina during my gap year. I love learning languages and am always happy to chat in Spanish and German, among others.
