The annual Summerland Junior Curling Bonspiel, sponsored by Ice Halo, was held on Saturday with eight teams from Summerland, Penticton, Oliver and Kelowna.
Four-person teams of boys and girls aged from six to 15 and even a Mexico City student curled together, with the older juniors mentoring the young curlers.
The $10 entry fee included three four-end games, pizza and prizes.
Summerland Junior Curling Club meets Wednesdays after school from mid-October to mid-March and is open to all students.
