The Penticton Vees stormed back down 0-2 to earn the 5-3 comeback victory Friday night.
Penticton was in South Surrey to take on the Eagles and thanks to forward Tyler Ho the Vees grabbed their fourth straight win and move to 15-3-1 on the season, remaining at the top of the BC Hockey League’s Interior division.

It was a hot start for the Eagles Friday night as South Surrey ran off with a 2-0 lead in the first 10 minutes of the first period. Penticton would rally back late in the period to cut the lead to 2-1 with a power-play goal from Lukas Sillinger.
Down 2-1 at the start of the second period, the Vees turned back on the play that has led them to their 15 wins this season as they netted the next two goals with the first three minutes of the second frame.
Holden Katzalay would tie the game 3-3 for the Eagles near the end of the period.

The game’s late hero, Tyler Ho, picked up his second goal of the season off an interception to put the Vees up 4-3 with less than two minutes remaining. Jay O’Brien would then add an empty-netter for the Vees.
The comeback would be completed as Penticton goalie Carl Stankowski stopped all 10 Eagles shots in the third period and 32 total saves for the night.
Penticton continues the two-game road trip Saturday night when the visit the Victoria Grizzlies.
The Vees return to home ice Nov. 6 when they host the Trail Smoke Eaters.
