Summerland Ladies Club
On Tuesday, May 3, the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club competed using Low Gross/Low Net scores to determine the winners.
First flight: First low gross Carol Mulligan, 88; second low gross Francis Colussi, 93; first low net Pat Gartrell, 74; second low net Vijai Vaagen, 75.
Second flight: First low gross Marie Gallant, 101; second low net Joanne Gartrell, 109 (countback); first low net Norma Chambers, 75; second low net Betsy McAndrew, 77.
Summerland Senior Men
Due to dull and rainy conditions the Summerland Senior Men’s Club played only had two flights on May 5. The format was individual play counting the best net score.
First flight: First Michel Perrault, 70; second Mike Van Tighem, 73; third (countback) Garth Humphreys, 75; fourth Don Walker, 75.
Second flight: First (countback) Martin Bouchard, 73; second Ed Helgason, 73; third (countback) Rick Drewnisz, 74; fourth Earl Edmundson, 74.
Five players shared the deuce pot, Andy Webster, Frank Davie, Cory Herschmuller, Mike Van Tighem and Martin Bouchard.
