On Tuesday, May 10, the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club used Stableford points to determine the winners. Points are awarded for net scores — one for bogey, two for par, three for birdie, etc.
First flight: First Vijai Vaagen, 38; second Helen Pybus, 33; third (countback) Carol Mulligan, 32.
Second flight: First Pam Webster, 41; second Janis Goll, 40; third Betsy McAndrew, 37.

On May 12, the play was a team event called “waltz time,” counting one net score on the first hole, two on the second and three on the third. (1,2,3)
Results: First Dennis Glasscock, Earl Edmundson, Dennis Foyle and Phil Par, 87; second Glen Brennan, Rick Drewnisz, Glenn Steinke and Chuck Harman, 84; third Dwain Sandrelli, Terry Steinke, Stan Brock and Sam Elia, 83; fourth (countback) Bryce Parker, Alf Vaagen, Denis Wright and John Mitchell, 81.
Four players shared the deuce pot, Bob Dickeson, Bill and Andy Webster and Sandy McDowell.
