On July 15, the Summerland Senior Men’s Club held an all net scores event.
Ken Robertson was low man for the day with a fine 5 under 67. Ten players shared the deuce pot with Charles Lay scoring a pair.
First flight: First low gross Dennis Glasscock, 72 cb; second low net Bob Fortune, 72 cb; third low net Jeff Goodis, 72 cb; fourth low net Greg Flook 72.
Second flight: First low net Alf Vaagen, 69; second low net Glen Steinke, 71 cb; third low net Glen Brennan, 71; fourth low net Chuck Harman, 74.
Third flight: First low net Eric Johnson, 70; second low net Jerry Sauve, 71; third low net Stan Brock, 72 cb; fourth low net Ed Helgason, 72.
Fourth flight: First low net Ken Robertson, 67; second low net Ted Gamracy, 70; third low net Gary Hollingshead, 71 cb; fourth low net Stu Macaulay, 71.

On July 22, the Summerland Senior Men’s Club played a team event titled Foxtrot, counting one low score on the first hole, two on the second, three on the third and all four scores on the fourth hole, repeated.
Results: The winning team with 103 points was Michel Perrault, Dave Smith, Jerry Sauve and Al Thomas. Second place with 100 points was Greg Flook, Bruce Hammond, Dave Hellard and George Carswell. Third place with 95 points went to Garth Humphries, Ken Bridgeman, Nick Coe and Rick Drewnisz. Fourth place by countback with 94 points was Dave Carleton, Glen Steinke, Wayne Cybak and Bob Tamblyn.
Seven players shared the deuce pot with Bruce Hammond scoring a pair.
Summerland Ladies Club
On July 20, the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club counted low gross/low net scores.
First flight: First low gross Carol Mulligan, 90; second low gross Vijai Vaagen, 93 cb; first low net Frances Colusssi ,74; second low net Linda Brussee, 77.
Second flight: First low gross Diana Leitch, 109 cb; second low gross Angie Brock, 109; first low net Ellen Clay, 76; second low net Marie Gallant, 82.
