On May 24, the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club played from the yellow tees. This shortened the distance from tee to green. Scores were then counted low gross and low net.
First flight: First low gross Carol Mulligan, 89 (countback); second low gross Vijai Vaagen, 89 (countback); first low net Lil Smith, 73; second low net Helen Pybus, 77.
Second flight: First low gross Pat Stohl, 107; second low gross Diana Leitch, 108; first low net Kathleen Smith, 78; second low net Julie Macaulay, 86.

On May 26, the Summerland Senior Men’s Club had a team event counting two net scores per hole.
Results: First Bryce Parker, Sam Elia, Nick Coe and Bob Houston, 88; second Dwain Sandrelli, Ken Blower, Rick Drewnisz and Ken Bridgeman, 85; third Bob Fortune, Glenn Steinke, Ed Helgason and Ken Roberson, 82; fourth (countback) Greg Flook, Eamon Doherty, Herb Williams and Jack Johnson, 81.
Bob Fortune and John Mitchell shared the deuce pot.
