Summerland Ladies Club
On Sept 6, the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club counted scores using the Stableford method in which points are awarded for the net score on each hole.
First flight: First Vijai Vaagen, 40; second Vi Ward, 35; third (tie) Frances Colussi and Carl Mulligan, 34.
Second flight: First Barb Oleschuk, 36; second Marie Gallant, 34; third (tie) Pam Webster and Janis Goll, 33.
Summerland Senior Men.
On Sept. 7 and 8, the Summerland Senior Men’s Club held their 2022 Senior Men’s Club Championship in golf.
The 2022 club champion is Len Filek with a two day gross score of 140. The low net champion is Don Walker with a two day net score of 139.
First flight: Low gross Jeff Goodis, 148; low net Warren Julien, 143.
Second flight: Low gross Peter Roucco, 157; low net Bob Houtson, 139.
Third flight: Low gross Craig Woolven, 171; low net Glenn Steinke, 147.
Fourth flight: Low gross Jeff Clarke, 179; low gross Mel Baillie, 141.
