On Tuesday, July 19, the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club counted putts for points with three points for no putts, two points for one putt and one point for two putts, minus one for three putts and over.
First flight: First Val Eibner, 29; second Linda Brussee, 23; third Carol Mulligan, 21, fourth Alison Coutts 20.
Second flight: First Helen Benallick,21, second Pat Gartrell, 19; third Ellen Clay, 17; fourth Norma Chambers, 15.

On July 21, the Summerland Senior Men’s Club played an all net scores event.
Three players tied for the low net of the day with three under par 69s. Ten players shared the deuce pot with David Carleton scoring his deuce on the par four first hole.
First flight: First low net Dennis Glasscock, 69; second low net Bob Fortune, 73 (countback); third low net David Carleton, 73 (countback); fourth low net Gene Benner, 73.
Second flight: First low net Mike Van Tighem, 71; second low net Charles Lay, 72; third low net Martin Bouchard, 75 (countback); fourth low net Dennis Foyle, 75.
Third flight: First low net Al Thomas, 69 (countback); second low net Rick Drewnisz, 69; third low net Terry Steinke, 72 (countback); fourth low net John Mitchell, 72.
