On Sunday, Oct. 30, the Summerland Jets challenged Penticton to hockey at Penticton’s McLaren Arena.
Penticton opened the scoring at 16:17 of the first period. The teams traded goals until half way through the second period when Summerland moved ahead with the score.
The game’s winner of the MacDonald’s Golden Moment Jersey for excellent teamwork was Callan Hantelmann. Jake Hagen and Hantelmann combined with several perfect passing plays and goals. The three stars of the game were Jake Hagen, speedster Wyatt Langlois and Harvey Barker.
Once again, Summerland had great goaltending from Atticus “Showman’ Zaseybida Skinner.
Penticton had several clear cut breakaways but Zaseybida Skinner shut the door.
