On June 25, the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club played a low net competition.

First flight: First Pat Gartrell, 72; second (tie) Helen Pybus and Lil Smith, 73.

Second flight: First Kathy Larkin, 72; second Ellen Clay, 73; third Norma Chambers, 77.

Summerland Senior Men

On June 27, the Summerland Senior Men’s Club played a one gross, three net scores event.

Bob Fortune, Craig Woollven and Rick Drewnisz took low gross in their respective flights while Dennis Glasscock, Doug Marchesi and Terry Steinke captured low net honours.

Dave Smith and Ken Blower shared the deuce pot.

First flight: First low gross Bob Fortune, 81; first low net Dennis Glasscock, 70; second low net Ken Bridgeman, 74 cb; third low net Dave Carleton, 74.

Second flight: First low gross Craig Woollven, 93; first low net Doug Marchesi, 73; second low net Jerry McKenna, 75; third low net Martin Nisbet, 76 cb.

Third flight: First low gross Rick Drewnisz, 88; first low net Terry Steinke, 72; second low net Bob Dickeson, 73; third low net Frank Davie, 74.
