On Saturday, March 5 the Osoyoos Coyotes hosted the Summerland Steam in the first game of Junior B hockey division finals.
The Steam shut out the Coyotes in a 5-0 decision.
In the first period, the Steam’s first goal came at 10:52. The goal was scored by Wyatt Gale and assisted by Riley Pettitt and Paulsen Lautard.
The Steam’s second goal was at 7:37, scored by Michael McEachren and assisted by Josh Pilon and Braden Elluk.
In the second period the Steam scored on a power play at 4:26. Gale had the goal, with assists by Pilon and Jarret Malchow.
In the third period, Gale scored an unassisted goal at 15:13.
The final goal came at 6:52 when Calvin Hadley scored, assisted by Keenan Scott and Pettitt.
