On Saturday, the Steam travelled to Osoyoos, where they defeated the Coyotes 4-3.
Summerland took the lead at 11:54 in the first period with a power play goal by Jack Mills. Paulsen Lautard and Josh Pilon assisted.
In the second period, Osoyoos tied the game with a goal by Daniel Stone at 19:26. Austin Cleaver and Colin Bell had the assists.
At 18:58, the Coyotes took the lead with a goal by Rainer Glimpel, assisted by Colton Rhodes.
A power play goal by the Steam at 12:58 tied the game once more. The goal was scored by Brogan Lautard with assists by Wyatt Gale and Paulsen Lautard.
Paulsen Lautard added an unassisted goal at 8:36 to reclaim Summerland’s lead.
An Osoyoos power play goal by Glimpel, assisted by Braeden Tuck and Bobby LaRue, brought the game back to a tie.
Wyatt Gale of the Steam scored on a power play at 2:14, with assists by Braden Eliuk and Adam Jones.
The third period was scoreless.
The game was the fifth in the division playoff series between the Steam and the Coyotes.
