South Okanagan athletes to compete at B.C. Summer Games

Games to begin July 23 in Prince George

Athletes from Summerland and Penticton are participating in the B.C. Summer Games in Prince George beginning July 23.

Emma Scholefield of Summerland will compete in triathlon. She will compete in the Super Sprint triathlon, duathlon, F1 triathlon, Super Sprint mixed relay and aquathon.

Ryelan McDermid of Summerland will compete in swimming after qualifying for the 50 metre fly, 100 metre fly, 50 metre back, 100 metre back and 100 metre freestyle.

Kyah Di Mitri of Summerland will also compete in swimming after qualifying for the 100 metre individual medley, the 200 metre individual medley, the 100 metre back, the 100 metre breast and the 50 metre breast.

Peyton Reip will compete in soccer.

Max Patenaude of Summerland will compete in athletics in the 100 metre, 200 metre, 300 metre and relay events.

Peter Kunka of Summerland will compete in athletics in the 1,200 metre and 2,000 metre events.

Ian Robinson of Summerland will compete in athletics in the 1,200 metre and 2,000 metre events.

Jasmine Hanry of Summerland will compete in athletics in the 1,200 metre and 2,000 metre events.

Jordis Kickie from Penticton will compete in athletics in the 800 metre and 1,200 metre events.

Baylee Leduc of Penticton will compete in athletics in the 100 metre, 200 metre and relay events.

Miles Hayden of Penticton will compete in athletics in the 800 metre and 1,200 metre events.
