Rockets win over Cougars

The Thompson Okanagan Female Midget AAA Rockets had two league games versus the Prince George Cougars at Memorial Arena on the weekend.

The Thompson Okanagan Female Midget AAA Rockets had two league games versus the Prince George Cougars at Memorial Arena on the weekend.

Game 1 saw the Rockets defeat the Cougars by a score of 3-1.

Scoring for the Rockets were Colby Williams (with assists by Cora Sutton and Jesse Keca), Colby Williams (assist by Maggie Shykula-Ross) and Shykula-Ross (assist by Jesse Keca).

The Rockets came out strong on Sunday and dominated much of the play and earned a 6-0 win over the Cougars.

Tara Bouvette earned the shutout in goal.

Scoring for the Rockets was Jesse Keca (assists by Maggie Shykula-Ross and Colby Williams), MacKenzie Barrie (assists by Christine Crawford and Taylor Whiteside), Maggie Shykula-Ross (assists by Jesse Keca and Colby Williams), Maggie Shykula-Ross (assists by Breanna Bernsden and Jesse Keca), Cora Sutton (assists by Maggie Shykula-Ross and Mackenzie Barrie) and Maggie Shykula-Ross (assists by Colby Williams and Courtney Morice.)
