Five different goal scorers lifted the visiting Revelstoke Grizzlies to a 5-2 victory over the Princeton Posse in Game 5 of the Bill Ohlhausen Division Final on Friday night, March 21.
Revelstoke leads the best-of-seven series 3-2 and could advance to the KIJHL's conference finals with another win over Princeton on Saturday night (March 22).
Nathan White, Keiran Keilly, Jett Patola, Diego Smith, and Mark LaFleur scored for the Grizzlies, who have won two games in a row this playoff series. Devin Degenstein made 35 saves, including 12 in the third period.
Carson Hebert, who opened the game's scoring at 15:17 of the first period, was joined by Jace Shuttleworth as the Posse skaters to find the back of the net Friday inside the Princeton and District Arena. Blake Sittler stopped 29 shots.
The Posse and Grizzlies posted the two best records in the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference during the 2024-2025 regular season.
Their series shifts to Revelstoke on Saturday night, March 22, for Game 6.
If the Grizzlies win, they'll punch their ticket to play either the 100 Mile House Wranglers or Kamloops Storm in the conference finals.
A Princeton win on Saturday would take the series back to the Similkameen for a decisive Game 7 on Monday, March 24.
