The Penticton Vees’ regular season may be over but that’s not stopping the B.C. Hockey League from continuing to recognize the club’s top players.

Brothers Josh Nadeau and Bradly Nadeau were named as the BCHL’s second and third stars of the week on Monday (March 28), respectively, after the two combined for 13 points during the team’s final three games of the campaign.

The announcement comes one day after the Vees conducted their annual team awards ceremony at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

The brothers led Penticton to a decisive 10-2 victory against the Merritt Centennials in the team’s season finale on Sunday (March 27).

Both forwards are among the team leaders in points, with Josh becoming the first 40-goal Penticton scorer in six years while ranking sixth in BCHL scoring.

Penticton finished as the Interior Conference’s best team (43-8-1-2) during the 2021-2022 regular season and will host the Trail Smoke Eaters on March 31 for Game No. 1 of the division’s quarter-finals.
