Penticton track and field team bring home championship medals

Several golds for the over 20 athletes who attended the championships in Surrey

On Oct. 22 the Penticton Track and Field club participated in the BC Cross Country running championships in Surrey with outstanding results.

The club had a strong showing with over 20 members making the trip to compete at the championships. Despite having a large number of new and inexperienced runners the club performed well with impressive results.

Since the club’s inception in 2021, athletes from Penticton have posted strong results in major championships and the club has quickly become one of the most competitive running clubs in the province.
