Pat Stohl putts to victory in Dot Foreman championship

Pat Stohl came out on top of a logjam of ties to win the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club annual Dot Foreman tournament on June 20.

Stohl carded 68 in a determined retrogression scoring, beating out Linda Brussee, who finished with 70. Third went to Vijai Vaagen with 70.

Hole # 18 Long Putts; Val Eibner and Pat Stohl

Penticton Senior Men

Doug Peters foursome with Graham Faraday, Bevan Eathorne and Don Stinson won the Penticton Senior Men’s four man tournament on June 21 scoring 26-under par, 114. Finishing second (also scoring 114), due to a count back, were Ernie Peaker, Brent Logan, Gary Napper, and Bill Murray.
