The Summerland Midget House Jets #1 finished the regular season with 3 big wins Friday against Westside #1

The Johnston Meier Midget House Jets clinched the Super League Regular Season title going undefeated with a 15-0-1 record.

The Jets finished the season with a three-game homestand on the weekend.

In their first game the Jets took on West Side #3, winning their first of three on the weekend. Summerland went up 2-0 after one with goals by Brandon West, assists by Brendan Clarke and Mason Draus, and the 2nd goal by Clarke, assisted by Kyle Morgan and West.

The Jets got into some penalty trouble but still manage to go up 4-0 after 2 periods. Goals by Todd Basso and West, assists by Darnell Hatt, Clarke and Morgan.

The Jets shut the door with three goals of their own by West, Tyler Sterk and Meghan Brooks, assists going to Clarke, Brett Wilson, Draus, West and Sterk. The Jets defence played a strong game limiting their opponents scoring chances. Nicole Smith, back from and injury, played one of her best games of the season making some very timely saves for the win.

Saturday afternoon the Jets played one of the top teams in the league, West Side #2. This team was the spoiler for the Jets perfect record, tying them earlier in the season. The Jets managed to stay on top with the final score 7-5. The pointgetters for the game were Brandon West 2G, 2A, Brendan Clarke 2G 1A, Darnell Hatt 1G 1A, Tyler Sterk 1G 2 A, Meghan Brooks 1G, Layne Richardson 3A, Kyle Morgan 3A, Mason Draus 1A.

The Jets played their final league game of the season on Sunday. The Jets had already clinched the league title but they were set on going undefeated. Penticton #1 came to town. Netminder Nicole Smith had another strong game in net and the jets defence again coming up big to help in a 11-3 win.
