The Summerland Yacht Club’s Giant’s Head Regatta was held Aug. 6 to 8 with 19 boats registered.

The cooler weather and clearer skies made for a successful and enjoyable event.

Whitesails Fleet: First Quintessence, Gerard Obbema (SYC); second T-Rex, Rob Greno (SYC); third Shadowfax, Paul Wiersma (SYC).

A Fleet: First Shadowfax, Danny Foster (KYC); second Animal Manor, Tom Naylor (KYC); third Exile, Rudy Enzmann (KYC).

B Fleet: First Wildfire, Harvey Ryll (PYC); second Calypso, Fred Trautman (PYC); third Goldmember, Tannis Coletti (SYC).

Saturday Rattlesnake Race (Tony Cooke Award): Wildfire, Harvey Ryll.

Sunday Southbound Race: Shadowfax, Danny Foster.

Giant’s Head Regatta Overall: Wildfire, Harvey Ryll.
