St. Stephen Anglican Church Events Committee held its second Lobster Fundraising Dinner and Auction in the hall on June 11, where patrons came to enjoy a Maritime dinner.
Roch Fortin from Roch Lobster/Maple Roch, his assistant Lana, and Drew, head chef at the Summerland Golf and Country Club, delivered a succulent meal such as one can experience on the East Coast.
What a feast it was. A silent auction was made possible by donations from Summerland businesses. A live auction was conducted by Bob Campbell of Dirty Laundry Vineyard. Summerland Sweets provided the door prize. Everyone attending shared good food, great company and lots of laughter. The proceeds of this event will be used to replace the hood over the kitchen range in St. Stephen Anglican Church Hall.
