Dear Editor:
If you were born in Canada or lucky enough to immigrate to Canada, you have won the lottery. We have it all.
However if fate had you born in East Africa you could be one of those people starving. They have lost everything.
We all live on this planet together; the Somalis are our distant neighbours. Would the world’s response be different if it was millions of Swedes clinging to life?
Canada should do more but as individual Canadians each one of us must help.
Look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself “Can I spare $5 to feed a child?”
