Dear Editor:

On behalf of the Summerland Community Arts Council, I want to thank the Summerland Rotary Club and participants in the 50/50 draw on Feb. 14.

The Arts Council is the recipient of $3,371, which will be used to furnish the conference/activity room in the recently renovated George Ryga Arts and Cultural Centre. The room is used for a variety of activities by numerous community groups.

We are pleased to share the total amount raised with the winner of the draw and Summerland resident Doreen Young.
