Dear Editor:
As there have been numerous amounts of media coverage and awareness of bears, I find it disturbing to say the least to see irresponsible dumping.
When we are told not to put our garbage out until the morning of pick up, and yet people are dumping their fruit purposely over a fence and it’s rolling down over the bank onto the street, I say wake up.
This is not being a good citizen of Summerland.
If everyone did this what would our town look like?
Come on people, we all live together. Let’s be neighbourly and do the right thing.
