Dear Editor:
I am writing to you today about the mayoralty race in Summerland. I was at Toni Boot’s open house the other evening and to my astonishment, there was the other candidate in the middle of the room, handing out her material, talking about her platform, and jotting down names.
Is there not enough dirty politics in the world? We sure as heck do not need any here in Summerland. And rumours, why do people start nasty rumours that are not true?
Some people have been saying Toni does not support development. Of course she supports development. She wants our town to grow and be vibrant. It has to be the right development in the right location. Developments that benefit the people and the town of Summerland, not just the developer.
