Mar 3, 1941 - Nov 21, 2017
Bill was born in Newdale, Manitoba and spent early life in Aneroid, Saskatchewan making friends, curling, playing hockey and soon got into the printing profession. He printed in various towns in Saskatchewan and Alberta.

He met and married Dorene Fehr in Camrose, AB and they moved to Kelowna in 1966. They had two children Jodie and Scott whom he deeply loved.

Brenda Mines was his longest job where he worked as a crusher operator for over 20 years enjoying each one with amazing comradery. After his divorce and towards the closing of the mine he met Diane Weber as his common law partner in Summerland for 14 years. In that time he got his refrigeration operators ticket and was the curling rink/arena ice man who proudly drove the Zamboni.

After retirement he moved to Vancouver which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Bill loved music and watching sports live or on tv and was always happy to have a cold one with anyone to shoot the breeze and laugh. He ran 10 km runs as though they were a walk in the park then moved on to sprint in the BC senior games earning a silver and two bronze in the years he participated also curling an 8 ender as a senior.

He loved his black standard poodles Toby & Jimmy and I quote, "They never talked back." We will all miss you Billy...
