William (Bill) Hamaliuk March 7, 1925 - July 19, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of William George Hamaliuk announces his passing at the age of 83. Bill was born in the Andrew area, and after living in several surrounding communities including Edmonton, he moved to Summerland, where he lived for most of the past 35 years. Bill is survived by his loving family; his wife Helene of 64 years, four sons, two daughters, fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren; Gerald (Alexandra) and their daughter Larysa, Michael (Mary) and their sons Tony (Cherrie) and Tyler; Alan and his children Alexander, Joseph and Anita; Don (Joan) and their children Kassie and Rob; Judy (Cam) Halldurson and their children Jesse Keto, Jonina, Brittney, Stacie and Kalene; Sue (Bill) May and their children Jacob and Shaina. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th at 10 am at St. Mary’s Orthodox Church of Kysylew, Andrew, Alberta. A lunch will be served in the church basement following the service.
