In Loving Memory ~ William David Woodbridge, 91, of Scotts Valley, California, passed away at home on July 18, 2021. David was born in Pense, Saskatchewan, Canada, on June 8, 1930 to Gwyneth and William F. Woodbridge. The family later moved to Trout Creek, British Columbia. David attended the Summerland School system, graduating in 1948.
He attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College, in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, graduating in 1953. That fall, David and Esther Sorensen were married in Penticton, B. C. They moved to Vancouver, B. C. where David attended UBC. After graduation they moved to Scotts Valley.
David taught at Rolling Hills Middle School for 30 years. He was also a member of Craig Memorial Chapel on the Campus of Bethany University in Scotts Valley. He served as organist and choir member for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Esther, and their children Diane, Ken (Sherri), and Elizabeth (Nile). Five grandchildren- Robert (Faith), Ben (Kim), Tamara (Mark), Joshua (Josie), Breanna, and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Don.
Honoring his wishes no service will be held.
