William 'Bill' Tameling went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the age of 80 years.
He will be remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife Renee, children Cheryl (Michael) of Lloydminster, SK, Keryn (Michael) of Humboldt, SK, Brent (Kathy) of Summerland, BC, Brian (Carrie) of Summerland, BC, and Kevin of Peachland, BC; grandchildren Robyn (Dallas) of Moose Jaw, SK, Andy (Ashtyn) of Saskatoon, SK, Jenny (Andy) of Germany, Adam (Trish) of Edmonton, AB, Devin of Summerland, BC, Bradon of Cold Lake, AB, Tom of Lloydminster, SK, Mathias (Teisha) of Summerland, BC, Ashley of Summerland, BC, Diem of Peachland, BC, and Dea of Peachland, BC; great grandchildren Hudson, Drayson, Millie May, Ethan, Charlotte, and Lars, siblings Ed (Leola) of Provost, AB, Joe (Marge) of Humbolt, SK, Al (Marianne) of Humboldt, SK, and Otto of Humboldt, SK; and sister-in-law Barb of Medicine Hat, AB.
Bill was predeceased by parents Emma and Joseph, in-laws Emma and Raymond, brother Ray, sisters-in-law Lillian and Karen, brother-in-law Ken, and nephew Clark.
Bill, nicknamed Billie and Villie, loved life and touched the lives of all who knew him. He was well loved for his humour.
He was also a wonderful photographer and handyman extraordinaire with his never ending ability to fix things.
The Memorial Mass was held Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Church of the Holy Child in Summerland, BC with Celebrant Father Martin.
The interment followed 11:30 a.m. Sunday, November 12, 2017 after the 10:00 a.m Mass.
