Thomas "Tom" Reginald Cairns of Summerland, BC went to be with the Lord March 16, 2009 at the age of 86 years. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by wife, Linda of Summerland, BC; children: Maryann Meachum of Washington State, Reg (Layne)Cairns of New Westminster, BC, Elsie-May Cairns of Penticton, BC, Cheryl (Kevin) Murphy of Penticton, BC; Grandchildren: Jason VanderHorst, Joshua Thomas Karoud, Maki Alexis Cairns, Brother Ben Cairns of Campbell River, BC. Sadly predeceased by first wife, Gerty and son, Randy. Tom was born in Sask. and served with honor in WW II to preserve our freedom. He returned to Sask. where he married Gerty Heinrichs and had 5 children. He moved to BC and will be fondly remembered in Summerland as the "Apple Juice Man on Sinclair". "A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, for without Him, who can eat or find enjoyment?
