March 28, 1961 - August 24, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Gordon Carter on August 24th, 2022 at Penticton Regional Hospital at the age of 61 years. He was pre-deceased by his father Gordon and mother Blanche. Terry will be fondly remembered by his loving family, including daughters Kelsey and Melissa, former wife Ingrid (Don), brothers Gary (Cheryl), Rick (Sue), sister Janice (Neil), grandchildren Nevaeh and Easton, and many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Terry was born and raised in Penticton and lived in Summerland for the past 32 years. He was employed by the City of Summerland Public Works Dept. for many of those years and you could often see him plowing the snowy streets of Summerland, fixing water main breaks, and helping wherever it was needed. Terry enjoyed gardening, fishing, snowmobiling, and boating. He liked to be a prankster at times and enjoyed playing jokes on people. He loved sharing stories, laughs, and had the gift of the gab. Terry was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis and lived many years in pain. We would like to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff at PRH for all of their help and endless support over the years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Penticton Regional Hospital. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Rest in peace. We love you.
