Tami Kuroda of Summerland passed away peacefully on July 6, 2007 at the age of 82 after a courageous 2 years at the ECU. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Roy and three children; Darlene (Guy) Richer of Red Deer, Connie (Alex) Ferreira of Penticton and Brian Kuroda of Prince George, six grandchildren; Shaun Richer, Melissa (Ferreira) Cutler, Michelle (Richer) Rowe, Christina Ferreira, Lindsey Ferreira, and Tyler Ferreira, and fi ve great grandchildren; Rylie Cutler, Miya Cutler, Tristyn Cutler, Kai Richer and Asher Richer, sisters Setsu (Bill) Kikuchi of Edmonton, and Michi (Phil) Dakus of Calgary Alberta, and many loving nieces and nephews. Tami is sadly predeceased by her sister Aya Tanemura and brother Tom Tomiye. Tami loved to travel, be in the company of good friends to share food and laughter, “... so between now and then ‘til we see you again we’ll be loving you ...” A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Summerland United Church, Summerland, BC with Reverend Kent Israel offi ciating.
