Surjit "Serge" Singh Mohinder passed away peacefully January 17th, 2020 at Dr. Andrew Pavillion, Summerland, BC. Born in Bhadaur, Punjab, India in 1927, Serge immigrated to Canada in 1967 from England and retired from the University of Toronto in 1993.
Serge is survived by his wife Vivian Beattie, Summerland, BC and his four children Ajit Singh Mohinder (son) Patiala, India, Ajit Chahal (daughter) Calgary, AB, Amardeepinder Singh Sidhu (son) Chandigarh, India and Petter Asheim (son) Skallevold, Norway, as well as 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The Family wishes to thank the staff at Haven Hill Care Centre, Penticton and Dr. Andrew Pavillion, Summerland for their respectful and compassionate care.
