Russell Dennis Parsons passed away peacefully March 30, 2016 in Penticton, BC at the age of 64 after a lengthy illness. He was born March 3, 1952 in Vancouver, BC and raised in Richmond, BC. He will be remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Diane; sons Ryan and Brad (Lyanna); siblings Nancy (Jim) Stewart, Barry (Sophie) Parsons, Sandy (Doug) Richards, Terry (Casseda) Parsons and John (Candace) Parsons; and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
Russ enjoyed fishing, gardening, renovations, cooking, and reading. He was a bus driver with Coast Mountain Bus Co. for 30 years. Russ was devoted to his family and had a compassionate spirit.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Summerland United Church, 13204 Henry Ave., Summerland, BC V0H 1Z0 with Reverend Armand Houle officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at Ocean View Cemetery in Burnaby, BC.
