HANSON, Ruby Florence It is with great sadness we say goodbye to Ruby Florence Hanson who passed away on July 11, 2007. Ruby was born at Gull Lake, Sask. Jan. 16, 1918. During her youth the family lived on a farm near Osage, Sask. before moving to Birch River, Man. In 1938 Ruby married Howard Willmore. Ruby and Howard retired in Summerland, BC in 1973. Ruby enjoyed thirty-four wonderful years in Summerland. Ruby is predeceased by husband Howard Willmore, February 1977, son Morley Earl, 1966, and grandson Michael Earl Willmore, October 1983, and second husband John Hanson, Dec. 1986. Ruby will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Joyce (Gordon) Grenon, daughter in-law Agnes Harasymk (Bill), grandsons Lee (Tami) Grenon, Harley (Connie) Willmore, granddaughters Karla (Pat) Mulholland, Kerri (Al) Rode, Lee Ann Murphy, great grandsons Mathew and Bryce Murphy, and Zackary Lee Rode and great granddaughter Kyla Willmore, as well by her many nieces and nephews in Sask. We shall keep you and your love in our thoughts and hearts. A special thank you to the staff at Penticton Hospital for their understanding and care. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at Summerland United Church - 13204 Henry Ave., Summerland, BC on Saturday, July 28th, at 11 am.
