Aug 16, 1921 - Mar 15, 2018
Rocco 'Roccy' Alfredo Biagioni passed away peacefully March 15, 2018 with family by his side following a very brief illness.

He will be remembered and sadly missed by his children Donna (Andy) Robertson, Sharon (Norm) Parkstrom, and Dwayne (Eve) Biagioni; grandchildren Gary (Nadine) Parkstrom, Liza Biagioni, Kelly (Kyle) Hale nee Parkstrom, Todd (Christa) Robertson, and Karla Biagioni; great grandchildren Cohen, Mason, Rory, Owen, Taylor, Audrey, and Quinn; and his many Biagioni and Hoover nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by Grace, his wife of over 62 years; grandsons Jason Parkstrom and Brian Robertson; parents Alfredo and Domenica Biagioni; sisters Natalina Appigli, Rita Bonthoux, and Mary Derosier; and brothers Oliviero, Adorno, and Marino Biagioni.

Roccy (96) was born, raised, and lived the majority of his life in Summerland, BC. He enjoyed his coffee group, poker, and potluck nights at the seniors' center, his Wednesday night group (especially cake night), golfing, fishing, hunting (he caught his last moose at age 90), and working on his antique cars. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball, and did military service during the war years. He and Grace enjoyed their retirement years travelling South for the winters in their motorhome, golfing, and spending time with relatives and their many, many friends.

Rocco lived his life ONE DAY AT A TIME, laughed often, and remained quick-witted right to the end of his full life.

The Visitation will take place Friday, March 23, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. followed by Prayers at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Child Catholic Church, 14010 Rosedale Ave., Summerland, BC. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with the interment at Canyon View Cemetery, 10316 Canyonview Rd., Summerland, BC.

There will be a Celebration of Life between 1:00 and 3:30 p.m. at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 22, 14205 Rosedale Ave., Summerland, BC after the interment.
