It's with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of longtime Summerland resident Richard (Dick) Knorr on April 13, 2022.
Dick passed away peacefully at the age of 76 after a brief battle with cancer, with his wife Harlene and daughter Renae by his side.
Dick leaves behind his wife Harlene; daughter Renae (Greg) Gartrell of Kamloops; son Rick Knorr of Penticton; stepson Dean Jones of Penticton; sister Gaye (Albert) Morrissette, brother Tony (Anna) Knorr, sister Linda Van Dyke (Ken Hazard) all of Kamloops; brother-in-law Harvey (Donna) Nelson of Kamloops; as well as 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Dick was predeceased by his first wife Eleanor in 1989; his Mom, Marie in 1996; and his Dad, Dick Sr. in 2012.
Dick will be forever missed and remembered by all. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Moog Hospice in Penticton or the Canadian Cancer Society.
Celebration of life will be held on May 28th at Dirty Laundry Winery. Please drop in between 3 pm and 6 pm and lift a glass in Dicks memory.
