On Thursday, February 20th 2020, Pieter passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Pieter battled with ALS for 5 years; he is survived by his loving wife, Brigitte, two daughters, Annabelle and Claire, his son-in-law, Phil and Austin, and his beautiful grandchildren, Marquis, Luca, Levi, Max and little Faye.
Celebration of Pieter's life, will take place on February 29th 2020 at the Sun Village Clubhouse, located across from West Kelowna Superstore. The ceremony will start at 2:30 pm, guest can start arriving as off 2:00 pm. Please park at the superstore parking lot.
At Pieter's request, he would like this to be a celebration of happiness and his remarkable life.
