Phyllys Eleanor Brown. Born November 22 1911, Vancouver B.C. and died, peacefully, in her 99th year June 17 2010 at Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, B.C.Predeceased by her husband of 68 years, James, August 3, 2009. Phyllys is survived by her daughter Sheena Ball (Rae) of South Surrey and her son James (Candace) of White Rock. Also survived by her nephew Brian Brenn of South Surrey and her niece Judith Carroll of Errington B.C. and 3 great nieces. Also cousins in B.C., Alberta, and Sydney, Australia. Phyllys was a member of St. Stephen’s Anglican Church Women and the Summerland Health Care Auxiliary. Phyllys and James moved to Summerland in 1971 and she had recently moved to Rosemary Heights Seniors Village in South Surrey to be near her family. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Vancouver, on Saturday July 17 at 2.00 p.m. Cremation with internment in the family plot in Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, 1690 Matthews Avenue, Vancouver B.C. V6J 9Z9 would be appreciated. Thank you to Dr. W.
