Philip Henry Wilkinson passed away peacefully on November 26, 2008 at the Penticton Regional Hospital at the age of 93 years. He will be lovingly missed by daughters; Dee-Ann (John) Holland, Lorraine (Reid) Williston and Eileen (Rod) Zornes, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Phil was born in Christina Lake BC on May 14, 1915. He served in WW II, and when he returned home, married Edna, who pre-deceased him in 2002. He was also predeceased in 1988 by his youngest daughter Ruth, and in 1991 by his only son, Ralph. Among other things, Phil had a great love for gardening and amateur radio. Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2946 South Main Street, Penticton. Interment took place at 2:00 p.m., November 29, 2008 in Canyon View Cemetery, Summerland. In lieu of flowers, donations in Phil’s memory may be made to the Vancouver Children’s Hospital.
