Peter Barg

Peter Barg entered into Eternal Rest early Sunday morning, September 17, 2017. He lived 94 years on this earth.

Left to mourn, but rejoicing that he is in the gracious and loving presence of Jesus, are Peter's children: Carol (Dave) Giesbrecht of Quesnel, BC, Marvin (Shirley) Barg recently of Salmon Arm, BC, Norman Barg and Joyce (Glen) Warkentin of Summerland, BC, and Kevin (Kim) Barg of Nanaimo, BC as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by wife Margaret, grandson Nathan, and brother John.

Peter was a quiet, hardworking handyman. He loved cookies, driving, fishing, teasing others, and the LORD. He wasgreatly loved.

There are many who showed Peter care and concern in his later years particularly after his wife died, but in these past months, the staff at Dr. Andrew Pavilion were especially attentive and the family is grateful.

A memorial service for Peter will take place Friday, September 22 @ 1:30 p.m. at the Summerland Baptist Church, 10318 Elliott Street, Summerland, BC with the interment preceding at 11:00 a.m. at Canyon View Cemetery, 10316 Canyonview Road, Summerland, BC.
