RATHJEN, PATRICIA KATHRYN
Patricia Kathryn Rathjen (nee Sikkes) passed away peacefully April 12, 2016 at the age of 57. She is remembered and sadly missed by her loving husband, Trevor Rathjen, parents Theo and Corry Sikkes, children Kent (Amber), Lindsay (James), and Natalie, grandson Micah and brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Patricia is sadly predeceased by her grandparents and sister Brenda.
Her nickname was Patty. She loved arts and crafts and was exceptional at anything she tried. She did painting, quilting, knitting, jewellery making, and cross stitching. Her love of life and people touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a never-ending ability to fix things.
Prayers were held Tuesday, April 19th, 2016 at 7:00pm followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 10:00 am at Holy Child Church, 14010 Rosedale Ave., Summerland, BC with celebrant Father Gerald Sekanga. Interment followed at Canyon View Cemetery, 10316 Canyonview Rd., Summerland, BC.
